If so, anexciting new opportunity for a Program Manager (PM) is available withinthe UNM College of Pharmacy for qualified applicants to participate in thenewly funded, multi-year, UNM Department of Defense project. This project,funded through the Medical CBRN Defense Consortium (MCDC), was formed foradvanced development efforts to support the Department of Defense's (DoD)medical, pharmaceutical, and diagnostic requirements related to enhancingmilitary personnel's mission effectiveness. Located inthe historically rich and culturally diverse Southwest, the UNM College ofPharmacy is part of the Health Sciences campus and works collaboratively withthe School of Medicine, College of Nursing, UNM Hospitals, and UNM CancerResearch and Treatment Center in the state's largest health complex. In additionto a stimulating academic health science environment, the College is located inAlbuquerque, in the Sandia Mountain valley. With more than 310 days of sunshinea year, Albuquerque has year-round recreational opportunities and more than28,000 acres of open space. Duties andResponsibilities of the PM include: Twice a month:

In addition,the Program Manager will help the P.I. coordinate and schedule internalmeetings between the research teams, compiling monthly reports from the team(sub awardees) on deliverables and their budget expenditures. Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience 2 of which are management level experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
